De laatste rechte lijn naar de voorstellingen is ingezet: de repetities draaien op volle toeren… Spektakel verzekerd!
Voor wie nog niet weet waarover het verhaal dit jaar precies gaat:
Het kansarme gezin De Cat bestaat uit vader Felix, moeder Sylvia, oma Madeleine en dochter Kim. Nadat hun huis afbrandde, krijgen ze tegen hun zin noodopvang in de kelder van majoor Tanghe en zijn ‘zure’ zus Serafine. Dat verandert als blijkt dat het huis grenst aan een bankgebouw en Felix zijn kans schoon ziet op de “jackpot”. Lukt het om een tunnel te graven zonder dat iemand het merkt ? Gooit Serafine geen roet in het eten omdat ze voortdurend opduikt in de kelder, op zoek naar haar blijkbaar spoorloos verdwenen kat? Blijft de bomma braafjes in bed liggen? Bemoeilijkt de liefdesaffaire van Kim met bankbediende Sven de zaken? En wat als de majoor op zijn beurt plots verrassend uit de hoek komt?…
